“Use sound to watch around“

The main idea of the project, that consists of three activities, is to learn how to use music and sound design possibilities for employment/entrepreneurship of blind youth.
Activity 1: Training Course - Novi Sad, Serbia
2.-10. March 2017. / 5 participants per country (including 1 blind youth + 1 personal assistant)
On Training Course participants will get concrete knowledge and skills about new possibilities, for helping blind youth on their self-employment/entrepreneurship using methods of making music and sound design. Participants will learn how to work with blind young people and to help them to learn music methods and how to apply and realize own projects.
Activity 2: Participants initiatives
60 days
Organizing workshops for blind youth to help them to be included, supporting them on entrepreneurship, educating them about music and sound design possibilities. This activity will be implemented in participant’s local communities in period of 60 days after Training Course (Activity 1). Participants will have the task to empower young people from their local communities using learned creative methods (knowledge and skills) acquired on TC (Activity 1).
Activity 3: Evaluation - Marmaris, Turkey
15.-19. May 2017. / 5 participants per country (including 1 blind youth + 1 personal assistant)
On Evaluation meeting participants will evaluate the effect of Activity 1 and Activity 2. One day will be reserved for a public conference where we will promote products and results of our long-term project.

Host organization:
The host organization is Association of artists – experts of drama, fine arts, applied arts, music and theory, management of culture and art. It is non profit organization based in Sombor, Serbia. Through art Youth cultural center of Vojvodina works on positive promotion and education of values and creative thinking audience, which is mainly youth.

Target group:
People actively involved in work with unemployed and/or blind young people (youth workers, youth leaders, play workers, NGO activists, school teachers, educators, social workers, volunteers and artists).
Working language:
English – all participants must be able to actively communicate using English language
Funding:
100% for accommodation will be covered and travel costs maximum amount per country you can find at pages of Activities
